Pretty & Professional

    These pumps make me feel pretty and professional. The are really comfortable too! I am able to wear them all day long at work and don't have to run home at the end of the day dying to throw them off. I bought these beautiful heels  when I first started working in an office and wanted to look professional while still being comfortable. These were definitely the right choice! I found them at Payless Shoe Store during one of their "bogo" sales...you know, buy one get one half off. Back in the old days a "bogo" sale meant buy one get one FREE...oh well! Times change...I really like these. They go with everything and the heel is the perfect height! <3

HOLIDAY FEVER

     These boots are fabulous!! They are called boyfriend boots, I bought them at Cathy Jean this last Christmas. I had finished purchasing all of my Christmas presents early, like before December and I was ecstatic....the only problem is, when you finish buying all of your Christmas presents so early, you feel like you have a lot more money than you do because you don't HAVE to buy anything for anyone else anymore and all the sales just call out your name and they are so wonderful and beautiful and look like so much fun so you jump into all of them and find more and more things that the people you love will just love too and by the time the end comes all the money you were going to save by buying all the presents early is all gone because you got caught up in HOLIDAY FEVER!!! *Sigh* These boots are awesome just the same! <3

Kick Ass

     These shoes are bomb!! I feel so kick ass in them!! Every time I wear them I am reminded of how much fun I had in kickboxing. I feel like I can take on anyone or anything when I wear these. They make me feel grounded, secure and strong. They are Etnies and yes, they are men's shoes but I like them and I look good in them so I'm going to wear them! Who cares what anybody else says! They are great! <3

The Death of Boot Season

     These are yesterday's shoes. I was sick and didn't post anything but I wanted to share anyway.

I drooled over these gorgeous grey Steve Madden boots for months and months, until one of my best friends finally bought them for me for my birthday. I was ecstatic! I wore them all day, everyday for seven months and then summer came. Bum! Bumm! Buuuumm!! The death of boot season! They are so incredibly comfortable. When I wear them, I feel so light on my feet and so pretty! Like I could wear anything at all and still look fabulous! I wore them to mini-golf, once, with the children's group at my church and I almost had a heart attack because I got them wet and I thought they were going to be ruined. False alarm! They were just fine and I was so glad!  <3

How I Love Thee

     Toms! Oh Toms! How I love thee!! For the longest time I refused to get Toms. I thought they were ugly and I didn't want to follow the crowed but I really liked what they stood for and how they help kids in Africa. (You know, buy a pair and they donate a pair to kids who need them). After seeing them around so much and noticing how many things they go with and how easy they are to just slip on and go I decided they are the shoes for me. I relented last summer. I didn't realize how comfy they are until after I bought them. They even have arch support! I confess, I now have not only these red ones but black ones as well. They are so convenient and easy to put on and wear with anything. And in wearing them I always feel a strong connection to the beach, which is one of my favorite places to be. The beach is my happy place! <3

Tweeked!

     Today is the first day I have ever worn these wonderful shoes and I can't, for the life of me, figure out why in the heck I waited so long! I bought these Aerosoles about a year ago at TJ Max. I was trying to duplicate an Anthropologie outfit that I loved and had seen in their catalog (which came to about $1,500 for everything!) for under $100. These shoes happen to be an exact replica AND they are super comfortable AND I bought AEROSOLES (which you may or may not know are quite expensive) for $20!! Yea me!! I was able to duplicate the outfit for about $75, however, the colors were different and it was a little tweeked and I didn't end up liking it on myself. So I'm trudging on, continuing to look. It is a lot of fun trying to duplicate an outfit at a bargain price! You should try it...that is if you like shopping and enjoy a bit of a challenge, otherwise you will want to shoot yourself. I love it! <3

Simple Elegance!

     These are my all time favorite flats! I bought them this last year in 2011 at Nordstrom's the Rack, they are by Steve Madden, the designer. I love how they frame my foot and show off the top of the shoe. When I wear them I feel so cute and spirited. I feel light-footed like I am able to just dance across the floor, barely touching the ground. They go with anything too and since they are flats, I am able to do just about anything in them! They spice up a dingy pair of jeans and add a simple chic look to any skirt or dress. Simple but elegant in their own right. The perfect shoe! Find one that works for you and show it off! <3
